The final of Miss Earth 2010 is underway in VinaPearl, Nha Trang of Vietnam. We’ll keep updating live of this event. You can watch the live broadcast on Vietnamese local channels such as VTV1, VTV4 and VTV9 from 8PM (GMT+7) and Star World from 9PM (GMT+7).
MISS EARTH 2010 LIVE COVERAGE
According to the script, the final of Miss Earth 2010 will last in 1 hour 58 minutes. Beauties from 84 countries and territories around the world will compete in the final round to select the top 14. 14 finalists will perform in swimsuit and evening gown. After swimsuit and evening gown performance, top 7 will be selected and finally Miss Earth 2010 winners will be announced. There will be Miss Earth, Miss Water – first runner-up, Miss Air – second runner-up and Miss Fire 3rd runner-up. Vietnamese famous singer My Linh will perform alongside with Ronan Keating. Ronan Keating will perform “The way you make me feel” and “When you say nothing at all”.

Miss Earth 2010, the 10th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will hold its finale in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam on December 4, 2010. The announcement was made in a ceremony at the Legend Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on January 28, 2010.
More than 90 contestants from various countries and territories will compete for the title, where Miss Earth 2009, Larissa Ramos of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event that will be broadcast by STAR World, VTV, ABS CBN, The Filipino Channel, and other partner networks. The Miss Earth winner serves as the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other environmental organizations
The delegates from various countries are expected to arrive in Vietnam on November 4, 2010 to participate in a range of activities covering HCM City, Phan Thiet, Hoi An and Nha Trang. The delegates will attend a press conference and various environmental activities in HCM City from November 4-13. They will also travel to Phan Thiet to join environmental activities and a festival to advertise Vietnam’s sports from November 15-17. In the ancient town of Hoi An, they will compete in Miss Miss Ao Dai, attend the Earth Hour and the Lantern Festival, to call for fuel saving and natural resource protection from November 17-19. The delegates will then go to Nha Trang to do charity works, cycling, street cleaning, meet with the local residents to talk about environmental protection and join various environmental activities, and to prepare for the finale night.
