The Miss Bahamas Organization officially unveiled its 15 contestants via the world wide web this evening with exquisite photos, bios and video interviews of the ladies vying for the Miss World Bahamas and Miss Bahamas Universe titles. This year’s pageant is being held under the theme “All That Jazz”, which the contestants beautifully portrayed during a photo shoot at the exclusive Old Fort Bay Club. Members of the public will get to meet the ladies face to face during their official presentation and sash ceremony at the Elizabeth on Bay Marketplace and Marina on Tuesday March 29, beginning at 7 p.m. Patrons attending that event will also be among the first to view the season premiere of this year’s Miss Bahamas Backstage Pass Reality TV show, the first episode of which airs on ZNS on Friday April 1 at 8:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, you can begin to support your favorite contestants by casting votes at the Miss Bahamas website. The contestant receiving the highest number of votes will automatically advance to the semi finals of the competition as The People’s Choice fast track winner. The pageant finale is slated for May 1.
